It was love at first pose. From an early age, Mandy acted on her intuition that physical activity was a potent means of working through emotional challenges. It’s no surprise that she immediately fell in love with yoga’s graceful dance of the breath and body when she first rolled out a mat in 2001. The sweetness of yoga deepened through a decade of studying Tantric Hatha yoga, and its ancient wisdom was embodied as Mandy used her practice as a tool to support healing injuries, navigating difficult emotions and embracing life changes. She gained a 200-hr RYT certification with 8 Limbs Yoga Centers in Seattle, Washington in 2008, completed a second 200-hr RYT certification with Denise Benitez at Seattle Yoga Arts in 2013, and has logged over 300 hours of formal training with well-known national teachers including Rod Stryker, Tias Little, and Sarah Powers.
Mandy develops yoga classes that systematically touch the physical, mental, emotional, energetic and spiritual dimensions of the human experience to support healing and integration. Through the practice of opening the body and mind with these tools, Mandy aims to provide practitioners space to awaken to their vibrant stillness.
