Slow and Low is a restorative practice designed to help us remember what it feels like to do less and experience time without the hurried push of a widely accepted social paradigm that faster is better. We will work with a series of hip openers and forward folds that keep us settled in the limitless support of the earth. Slowing down plays a vital role in the rejuvenation of our systems, the clarity of our experiences, and our general well being. This evening’s practice is powerful medicine for the cultivation, illumination, and absorption of the nourishment we need to slide into a more restful mode of being.
Come celebrate the transition of the season into slow, summer evenings with an easeful Solstice practice.
