In the midst of Winter Solstice week and the busy winter holidays, come explore and honor your own evolving balance of lightness and darkness through movement, stillness, and by being bathed in energy as sound. Join Nicole Bratt for a sweet gentle and Restorative yoga practice, accompanied by a healing sound bath by Amber West.
This nourishing two-hour practice begins with a slow, gentle flow to explore the dynamic relationship of your body and breath through movement. You’ll then transition to a soothing candlelit Restorative practice with long-held, passive poses intentionally soothing your nervous system, creating space for you to just be with the shifting landscape of mind and heart. The crystal bowls create strong, resonant vibrations that further facilitate rest and healing on an even deeper energetic level by allowing the body and mind to release stuck patterns and blocks. The cumulative experience will ultimately enhance and harmonize your overall wellbeing.
Dress in layers, as your body temperature will drop throughout the practice, and staying warm is a crucial physiological component of facilitating deep relaxation. Also, we highly recommend you bring an eye pillow/mask and socks.
