SPECIAL HOLIDAY PRACTICE with Rainey
The darkness of the solstice invites us to turn inward and tend our roots and still quiet places. The brightness of the full moon invites us to acknowledge the light and bright aspects of ourselves. The two together are a powerful reminder that light is known by the darkness that surrounds it and the darkness is a deep and profound place of incubation. Both are necessary; both are to be honored.
As we practice the full mandala of yogic arts (movement, chanting, pranayama, meditation and rest), we dance and honor the fullness of our embodiment; body, breath, mind, heart. This practice is a place to plant the seed of intention for the coming season and invite the light of consciousness to water it. All are welcome to this circle.
